Housing a site manager in Cayenne for three weeks, a crew of six technicians for a month, an auditor who lands at 11 p.m., or bringing fourteen people together for a team retreat: in French Guiana, all of these run into the same wall. Hotels fill up or become hard to justify over a long stay, and nobody signs a standard lease for twenty-two nights.
Amazon Conciergerie is a local concierge and rental management company based in French Guiana. We manage a portfolio of furnished properties in Cayenne, Rémire-Montjoly and Roura, and we work with companies, public bodies, laboratories and institutions that need to house staff on assignment: one point of contact, inspected properties, a clear quote and an invoice issued in your organisation’s name. Built for professional stays
Housing someone on assignment is not a travel problem, it is an organisational one. Three obstacles come up again and again.
- Hotels. In busy periods availability disappears fast, and the nightly rate becomes hard to defend once an assignment runs for several weeks. With no kitchen and no work space, comfort drops quickly.
- Leases. Application files, deposits, notice periods: none of it makes sense for three weeks, and even less for a team that rotates every fortnight.
- Arrival times. Someone landing in the middle of the night should not have to wait until the next morning for keys. Several of our properties allow self check-in with a key box.
Our answer: a furnished, fully equipped property booked for the exact length of the assignment, with an organised arrival and local support. The details are on our services page.
The situations we cover
- Site assignments: works supervisors and technicians on site for several weeks.
- Secondments and transfers: an employee or manager housed while they look for permanent accommodation, a stage also covered by our relocation and settling-in service.
- Training: trainers flying in from mainland France, trainees grouped together for one session.
- Audits and inspections: short assignments, with dates that keep moving until the last minute.
- Field campaigns and research missions: teams that need a logistics base near Cayenne, with flexible hours.
- Team retreats: a whole property to yourselves so a department can meet for two or three days.
- Locum medical staff: doctors, nurses and midwives, from two weeks to several months.
- Rotating crews: the same property kept for several months, with occupants following one another.

A group of up to 14, or a retreat
Natura Lodge in Roura is yours exclusively: 14 beds, a 5,000 m² plot, a natural stream, an open kitchen, a bar and two large local-timber tables that work just as well as a meeting room as they do as a dining table. Parking, Wi-Fi, accessible by ordinary car, around 30 minutes from Cayenne. On Airbnb or Booking. The rest of the portfolio is presented in our guide to the districts and our properties.
How it works
- Request a quote. Dates, number of people, preferred area, invoicing format: we come back with one or more costed proposals.
- Video viewing. On request, we walk you through the property live before you commit, which helps when the decision is made from a distance.
- Booking. Once the quote is approved we hold the dates; you can also go through our booking page.
- Arrival on site. Keys handed over in person or self check-in, depending on the time. The property is ready: linen, cleaning, equipment all checked.
- WhatsApp support. Throughout the stay, your staff have a local number to call.
- Inventory check. Documented on arrival and departure; our method is described on our inventory page.
Invoicing and paperwork
- Weekly or monthly quotes, prepared according to the length of stay and the number of people.
- Invoice issued in the name of the company, public body or institution, with the references you send us (purchase order, contract number, paying department).
- Supporting documents for assignment orders and expense claims: certificate of stay, dates, occupants, property address.
The exact terms appear on the quote and follow your usual framework. For any tax or compliance question specific to your organisation, please check with your finance department or the relevant authority: we supply the documents.
Why work with us rather than a booking platform
- One local point of contact. We are in French Guiana, in the same time zone as your team member.
- Inspected properties. We know every one of them, its district, its parking, its connection.
- Direct booking, no platform commission. You avoid the service fees added by booking sites.
- Responsiveness. Shifted dates, a replacement colleague, a week’s extension: we handle these quickly.
- Several languages. French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
We also manage properties on behalf of owners in French Guiana: see our rental management service.

Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible in high-demand periods. We also handle last-minute requests: send us your dates and we will tell you what is free.
Can dates be changed after booking?
Assignments move. Let us know as soon as you have the information: we look for a solution, either by shifting the stay or by switching to another property in the portfolio. The applicable conditions are set out on the quote.
What is the maximum number of people you can house?
Up to 14 people in a single place at Natura Lodge. For larger groups, or groups that need to stay in Cayenne, we combine several nearby properties and coordinate the arrivals.
Can the invoice be issued in the employer’s name?
Yes, with the administrative references required, along with the supporting documents needed for assignment orders and expense claims.
What about long stays?
They are common for secondments and locum cover. We prepare a monthly quote, based on the length of stay and the number of people. If the stay turns into a permanent move, our relocation and settling-in service takes over.
Tell us what you need
